VOCAL TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Adda discovered her talent for teaching while engaged as an opera soloist with the Zurich Opera, Switzerland in 1988. Young opera students attending her performances asked if she would teach, and she hasn’t stopped yet. Since that time, Adda has helped many hundreds of students, choirs, teachers and speakers to develop their vocal talents. Her students are empowered to perform with ease, power and expression whether on stage, in the concert hall or in the recording studio.
Adda’s interest in how music and singing can heal and transform, brought her into contact with specialized methods that help improve listening, learning and singing. She also spent some time in India studying meditation, yoga and sacred chant.
Adda has given masterclasses and workshops featuring her unique VOGA™ voiceyoga for peak performances to teachers, professional singers, and choirs in America, Switzerland and Israel. She was on faculty as a voice teacher at Barry University, Miami, New World Performing Arts High School and College, Miami, and at the Levinsky Teacher’s College, Tel Aviv, Israel. She holds a Master’s degree in opera and stage direction from the Indiana University School of Music, Bloomington, Indiana, and was a voice student of the celebrated Italian/Romanian soprano and Bel Canto specialist, Virginia Zeani.
